At Scientific Specialties, we specialize in quality local microscope service, so that you have the finest working tools available for your science classes! These precision instruments should be serviced annually to maintain the finest operating condition and to allow for the optimal learning experience for your students.
Scheduled on-site service includes the cleaning, service, and repair needed for each microscope. Service is conducted at your school, minimizing downtime and allowing service to be scheduled anytime during the school year! Cleaning and preventative maintenance of most educational microscopes is $36 per unit, parts additional. For larger quantities or questions, please contact us at info@ScientificSpecialties.biz.
To order, complete the order form, attach your school's official purchase order, and mail both to our office. It's that simple! We will contact you to schedule a service call at a time convenient for all. A service call fee of $75 is applicable for orders of less than 25 units or travel distance over 150 miles from our office.
Funding for our service most frequently comes from a school's maintenance or R&R (repair/replacement) funds rather than the science budget! We recommend you ask your school's administration for more information. Routine preventative maintenance is the cost-effective alternative to the purchase of replacement equipment.
