Spectrum has always attempted to be an environmentally conscious manufacturer. This past year the United States General Services Administration honored Spectrum with its Evergreen Award for efforts towards environmental sustainability. Spectrum’s efforts also were recognized by the State of Wisconsin by receiving the 2008 Governors Award as Federal Contractor of the Year for Small Business. This award is a direct representation of Spectrum’s willingness to invest in innovative designs which represent the best possible solutions to our customers’ unique needs.
These efforts within the Federal Government resulted in some tremendous projects for Spectrum and some unique new product offerings. The ultimate satisfaction of the customer and the resulting exposure they received made the award possible. They were also recognized for their general business performance when Spectrum was included in the annual listing of the 300 largest furniture manufacturers in the country (FDM 300) by Furniture Design and Manufacturing magazine.
Founded in 1968, Spectrum has definitely evolved over the years. Over the past forty years they have gained valuable experience specializing in a number of different markets.
